Upon your arrival at Delhi International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed and escorted to your hotel. Delhi is a vibrant city where the ancient and modern coexist beautifully. Known historically as Indraprastha—dating back to the Mahabharata era—Delhi has been a seat of power for many empires. The city’s heritage includes monuments from rulers such as Qutub-ud-din Aibek, Alauddin Khilji, the Tughlaqs, Humayun, and Shah Jahan, who founded the majestic walled city of Shah Jahanabad. In the 20th century, New Delhi was meticulously planned by Sir Edwin Lutyens, showcasing British imperial architecture alongside ancient history. Rest and overnight stay in Delhi.

Begin with a guided tour of Old Delhi’s 17th-century walled city, visiting the magnificent Jama Masjid—India’s largest mosque built by Shah Jahan in 1656. Stroll or take a rickshaw through Chandni Chowk’s vibrant bazaars, reaching the impressive Red Fort, constructed in 1648. In New Delhi, pay homage at Raj Ghat, the solemn memorial of Mahatma Gandhi. Drive past iconic monuments such as India Gate, the war memorial dedicated to soldiers of WWI and the Afghan Wars, and the stately President’s House, once the Viceroy’s residence. Visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Humayun’s Tomb, an architectural precursor to the Taj Mahal. End the day marveling at the towering Qutub Minar, the tallest brick minaret in the world. Evening at leisure. Overnight in Delhi.
