After breakfast, enjoy a leisurely morning before embarking on a guided tour of Delhi. Begin with Old Delhi’s vibrant streets, visiting iconic sites like the 1648 Red Fort, Jama Masjid (India’s largest mosque), and the solemn Raj Ghat, the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi. In the afternoon, explore New Delhi’s architectural marvels including India Gate, President’s House, Humayun’s Tomb, the Lotus Temple, and the towering Qutab Minar. Overnight stay in Delhi.
After breakfast, drive to Haridwar, the sacred gateway to Uttarakhand’s Chardham pilgrimage. Situated on the banks of the River Ganges, Haridwar marks the point where the river leaves the Himalayas and enters the plains. Experience the enchanting evening ritual as thousands of Diyas (oil lamps) and marigold flowers float along the ghats during the mesmerizing Maha Aarti ceremony at Har Ki Pauri. Visit prominent temples such as Mansa Devi, Sapt Rishi, and Daksha Mahadev.
Post-breakfast, transfer to Rishikesh, the revered “Gateway to the Himalayas.” Known for its association with ancient yogis and sages, Rishikesh offers breathtaking views of the Ganges as it flows through the Himalayan foothills. Visit various temples and ashrams, culminating in the soulful evening prayer at Triveni Ghat—a captivating spiritual experience.
Depart Haridwar after breakfast for Barkot. On the way, stop at the picturesque hill station of Mussoorie for lunch and a visit to the stunning Kempty Falls. Continue to Barkot, where you will settle in for dinner and overnight at The Chardham Camp.
Early morning departure to Phoolchatti, followed by a 7 km trek to Yamunotri, the sacred source of the Yamuna River. Visit the temple dedicated to Goddess Yamuna and partake in holy rituals such as bathing in the natural hot springs and cooking rice in the spring waters, as devotees have done for centuries. Return to Barkot for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, travel to Harsil, renowned as one of the most breathtaking valleys in the world. En route, take a refreshing dip in the hot springs of Gangnani. Overnight at The Chardham Camp, Harsil.
Journey to Gangotri, the sacred origin of the Ganges River, locally known as Bhagirathi. Take a holy dip in the pristine waters, perform puja, and absorb the serene mountain surroundings. Return to Harsil for the evening Ganga Aarti along the riverbank, followed by dinner and overnight stay.
Depart early for Guptakashi, a tranquil town nestled in the Garhwal Himalayas. Enjoy the scenic drive and relax at The Chardham Camp upon arrival. Dinner and overnight stay here.
After breakfast, drive to Gaurikund, the starting point of the trek to Kedarnath. Take a holy dip at Taptakund before beginning the 14 km trek to Kedarnath Temple. Attend the evening aarti and darshan at this revered shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva. Overnight stay at a local guesthouse such as Punjab & Sindh Awas.
After morning rituals, trek back to Gaurikund and drive to Guptakashi. Rest and overnight at The Chardham Camp.
Travel through lush medicinal forests to Joshimath, a spiritual hub and gateway to Badrinath. Check into your camp and spend the evening exploring the charming town independently. Dinner and overnight at The Chardham Camp.
After breakfast, journey to Badrinath, one of the holiest pilgrimage sites dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Participate in the sacred darshan and visit the nearby Mana Village, the last Indian settlement before the Tibet border. Return to Joshimath for dinner and overnight stay.
Proceed to Rudraprayag after breakfast, an important confluence of rivers and pilgrimage site. Explore local temples and unwind with an overnight stay in Rudraprayag.
After breakfast, visit the temples of Rudraprayag before driving back to Haridwar. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and enjoy an evening tour of the city, including the famous Har Ki Pauri and other sacred sites. Overnight in Haridwar.
Following breakfast, depart for New Delhi. After hotel check-in and some rest, proceed to the international airport to board your onward flight, marking the end of your spiritually enriching Chardham Yatra.
