Day 01Arrival in Delhi

Arrive in Delhi via international flight and transfer to your hotel for a restful overnight stay.

Day 02Delhi – Chandigarh – Manali (Approx. 200 km / 5 hours)

Board a train from Delhi to Chandigarh. Upon arrival, drive to Manali, journeying through some of Himachal Pradesh’s most breathtaking landscapes. Arrive in Manali by evening, check in, and unwind at your hotel.

Day 03Manali Sightseeing

After breakfast, explore Manali’s cultural gems: visit Jagatsukh Nagar Art Gallery, the revered Hadimba Devi Temple, and the tranquil Tibetan Monastery. Later, venture to Vashisht village, famous for its natural hot sulfur springs believed to have healing powers. Return to the hotel in the evening to relax and enjoy dinner.

Day 04Manali to Sarchu – The Gateway to Ladakh

Embark on the legendary Manali-Leh highway, one of the world’s highest and most scenic routes, open from late June to October. Cross majestic Rohtang Pass (3,978m), Keylong (3,350m), and Baralacha La Pass (4,890m). Reach Sarchu (4,253m), the natural boundary between Himachal Pradesh and Ladakh, where you’ll spend the night in a cozy tented campsite surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery.

Day 05Sarchu to Tso Moriri Lake (Approx. 200 km / 9-10 hours)

After breakfast, continue your epic drive through spectacular landscapes to Tsokar Lake and then on to the serene Tso Moriri Lake in the Rupshu Valley. Tso Moriri is the largest high-altitude brackish water lake without an outlet, flanked by stunning mountains and dotted with smaller lakes. Overnight camping near the lake offers a tranquil night under the stars.

Day 06Tso Moriri to Leh (Approx. 280 km / 7 hours)

Drive towards Leh, passing through scenic villages such as Sumdo, Chuma-Thang (known for its therapeutic hot springs), Nurnis, Kery, and Kadgam. Enjoy a packed lunch en route as you traverse through lush gorges and river valleys. Arrive in Leh and transfer to your hotel for a well-earned rest.

Day 07Leh – Monastery Excursion (Shey, Thiksey & Hemis)

Explore the spiritual heritage of Ladakh’s Indus Valley with visits to Shey, the ancient royal capital with its golden Buddha statue; Thiksey Gompa, an impressive hilltop monastery with a towering gold-plated Maitreya Buddha; and Hemis Gompa, one of the largest monasteries, renowned for its vibrant annual festival honoring Guru Padmasambhava. Return to Leh in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 08Leh to Pangong Lake (Approx. 6 hours)

Set out early for Pangong Lake, crossing the high-altitude Changla Pass (5,486m). Pangong Lake is a spectacular, narrow saltwater lake stretching over 130 km and straddling the Indo-China border. Enjoy the stunning natural beauty and serene environment. Evening at leisure by the lake with overnight stay in a camp.

Day 09Pangong Lake to Leh (Approx. 6 hours)

Spend the morning soaking in the pristine beauty of Pangong Lake. Later, drive back to Leh and check into your hotel for some rest and free time.

Day 10Leh – Excursion to Khardung La Pass

After breakfast, visit Khardung La, the highest motorable pass in the world at 18,390 ft, just 39 km from Leh. Enjoy breathtaking views from this iconic vantage point. Afternoon free for relaxation or exploring Leh’s bustling local markets.

Day 11Leh to Hunder (Nubra Valley) (Approx. 126 km / 6 hours)

Drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass. Known as the “Valley of Flowers,” Nubra lies between the Karakoram and Ladakh mountain ranges and offers enchanting landscapes. Arrive at Hunder, famous for its sand dunes and the unique double-humped Bactrian camels. Spend the afternoon exploring Hunder and Diskit villages.

Overnight: Camp or cottage, Hunder

Day 12Hunder to Leh

Enjoy an optional camel safari on the sand dunes in the morning. After breakfast, retrace your route back to Leh over Khardung La Pass. Spend the afternoon relaxing or wandering the local bazaars.

Day 13Leh to Delhi by Flight

Transfer to Leh airport for your flight back to Delhi, crossing the majestic Himalayas. On arrival, check in to your hotel for an overnight stay.
