14-Day Himachal Pilgrimage Tour

Day 1Arrival in Delhi

Upon arrival at Delhi International Airport, you’ll be greeted with a warm traditional welcome. After check-in at your hotel and a short rest, we begin exploring Delhi’s prominent landmarks: India Gate and the President’s House in the morning, followed by afternoon visits to the Lotus Temple (closed on Sundays), Qutub Minar, and Akshardham Temple (closed on Mondays).

Day 2Delhi to Chandigarh (250 km / 6 hrs)

After breakfast, we set off for Chandigarh. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and then explore the modern architectural marvels designed by Le Corbusier: Rock Garden, Botanical Garden, Government Museum, and other administrative buildings.

Day 3Chandigarh – Pinjore – Dharamshala (260 km / 7–8 hrs)

Depart after breakfast, with a stop at the historic Pinjore Gardens en route. Continue to Dharamshala (McLeodganj), visiting the sacred Jwalaji Temple and the ancient Kangra Fort. McLeodganj, known as ‘Little Lhasa,’ is home to His Holiness the Dalai Lama and a thriving Tibetan community.

Day 4Exploring Dharamshala

Discover the spiritual and cultural richness of McLeodganj:

Namgyal Monastery – personal monastery of the Dalai Lama.

Namgyalma Stupa – a tribute to Tibetan martyrs.

Norbulingka Institute – a center for Tibetan art, crafts, and learning.

Kangra Art Museum – showcasing rare Kangra Valley artworks and Nicholas Roerich’s paintings.

Day 5Dharamshala – Mandi – Rewalsar (150 km / 6–7 hrs)

Post breakfast, journey toward Rewalsar, stopping at Mandi. Explore Mandi’s ancient temples like Bhutnath, Triloknath, and Tarna Devi Temple with panoramic views of the valley. Continue to Rewalsar, a serene town revered by Buddhists, Sikhs, and Hindus alike.

Day 6Rewalsar – Manikaran – Manali (190 km / 9–10 hrs)

Begin your day with a visit to Rewalsar Lake and sacred Buddhist sites, including the Padmasambhava Cave. Continue to Manali via the spiritually significant town of Manikaran, famous for its hot springs and the Gurudwara Sahib. Visit Bijli Mahadev Temple before arriving in Manali.

Day 7Manali & Naggar Exploration

Start with a visit to the Himalayan Research Institute, followed by the Krishna Temple and Tripura Sundari Temple. Post lunch, visit the famous Hadimba Devi Temple, Tibetan monasteries, and Vashisht hot springs. Conclude with a visit to the Roerich Art Gallery (closed on Mondays).

Day 8Rumsu Excursion

Enjoy a scenic hike through pine forests to the charming village of Rumsu, located at 2,060 meters, offering breathtaking views and traditional Himachali architecture.

Day 9Manali to Shimla (265 km / 7–8 hrs)

Depart early for Shimla, stopping at Banjara National Park en route. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and relax.

Day 10Discovering Shimla

Explore Shimla’s colonial past and natural beauty. Visit the Viceregal Lodge, now the Indian Institute of Advanced Studies, and then head to Hanuman Temple and Kufri for panoramic views.

Day 11Shimla to Haridwar (355 km / 9–10 hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Haridwar via a brief stop at the historic Pinjore Gardens. On arrival, visit the Mansa Devi Temple and witness the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri in the evening.

Day 12Excursion to Rishikesh

Begin your day with morning pooja at Har Ki Pauri before departing for Rishikesh. Visit the iconic Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula, Geeta Bhawan, and various ashrams. This spiritual hub also offers adventure activities like river rafting, trekking, and rock climbing.

Return and overnight stay in Haridwar.

Day 13Haridwar to Delhi (225 km / 5 hrs)

Visit Chandi Devi Temple in the morning, then depart for Delhi. Stop for lunch at Cheetal Grand en route. Arrive in Delhi by evening and transfer to the airport or your hotel.

Day 14Departure from Delhi
