Day 1Arrival in Guwahati

Welcome to Guwahati! Upon arrival by flight, you will be greeted with a traditional ‘Swagat’ (welcome ceremony). Our representatives will assist you with your transfer to the hotel where you can relax and settle in.

Day 2Kamakhya Temple Visit & Drive to Cherrapunjee

Start your day with an early breakfast before visiting the revered Kamakhya Temple, one of the most important Hindu pilgrimage sites. During the Ambubashi festival, it attracts over a million devotees, underscoring its spiritual significance.

After paying homage to the mother goddess Kamakhya, embark on a scenic 170 km drive to Cherrapunjee, famously known as the wettest place on Earth due to its record-breaking rainfall. En route, visit the serene Borapani Umiam Lake, surrounded by lush hills that create a tranquil setting.

Day 3Explore the Mystical Krem Mawmluh Cave

Today, venture into the depths of Krem Mawmluh Cave, situated just half a kilometer west of Cherrapunjee near the village of Mawmluh. This vast cave system features five interconnected river passages and extends over 7 kilometers, showcasing impressive natural formations.

Also, explore the stunning waterfalls of Cherrapunjee, surrounded by verdant greenery. Return to your resort to unwind after this exciting day of exploration.

Day 4Trek to the Double-Decker Living Root Bridge

After an early breakfast, set out on a memorable trek to the awe-inspiring Double-Decker Living Root Bridge — an ingenious creation of the Khasi tribe. These natural bridges are woven from the aerial roots of the Ficus elastica tree, artfully crafted over generations to span streams and ravines.

Enjoy a picnic lunch at the bridge, soaking in the serene atmosphere. Spend your evening at leisure, taking in the breathtaking vistas of the Khasi Hills and the distant plains of Bangladesh.
